6 WEEK PRE-NATAL SERIES

Brittany combines the perfect mix of information and practice. This is my first pregnancy and I learned a bunch about how to take care of my body during this time. She is knowledgeable about the right movements and where we should push ourselves and where to take it easy. I felt safe and comfortable doing yoga in this new state with Brittany's guidance.

This special pre-natal series is near and dear to my heart. In 2019, I completed both my pre and post-natal training. These trainings were incredibly eye opening for me as I learned how truly amazing the female body is and how women can use yoga to better prepare themselves for child birth and beyond.

In this special series, I hope to share with you a brief history on childbirth, information regarding the pelvic floor and how you can prepare your body for childbirth, guided Asana practice and how you can modify everyday yoga poses to fit where you're at in your pregnancy. My ultimate goal over these 6 weeks is to bring you to a place where you feel comfortable continuing with your personal yoga practice by including modifications specific to your body up until your bundle of joy is ready to join us Earth side.

Week 1

  • Special introduction by each participant

  • Brief history of childbirth

  • 30-minute Asana practice

Week 2​

  • Introduction to breathing (Pranayama) techniques

  • 45 minute Asana practice


Week 3

  • Special guest Abby West: Physiotherapist specializing in pelvic floor health. 

  • 30 minute Asana practice

Week 4

  • Pranayama for pregnancy & labour

  • 50 minute Asana practice

Week 5

  • Special Guest, Shelly Ordon: Naturopathic Doctor & Birth Doula

  • Asana practice focused on third trimester & labour

Week 6

  • 45 minute Asana practice

  • Closing remarks
