The workshop provided a safe platform to work on fine-tuning foundational Yoga poses. Brittany created a comfortable atmosphere that encouraged interaction and openness. I had plenty of opportunities to ask questions and get a better understanding of how my body responds. In addition to the Yoga benefits, the workshop had a great community feel that is much-needed during the current pandemic.

The intricate movements from Plank to Chaturanga to Upward Facing Dog and Downward Facing Dog can be like clockwork in a Vinyasa class, but have you ever wondered if you’re actually doing them right?

I have designed this workshop to answer that question. As someone who did Chaturanga wrong for many many years, I am very passionate about breaking down these common poses. In this workshop we will talk about each shape in Surya Namaskar A and B and the transitions between each shape. Additionally, we will touch on what Vinyasa actually means and why the breath is so important. This workshop is suitable for all levels as we will discuss modified and advanced approaches to our flow.
